Big Island arrival requirements to avoid quarantine:
Beginning July 8th, 2021, the State of Hawaii is allowing any traveler who has been fully vaccinated in the United States to bypass quarantine without a pre-travel test. The vaccination document must be uploaded to the Safe Travels website and be printed out prior to departure and hard copy in hand when arriving in Hawaii. If guests are not vaccinated all adults over 18 must fill out the Safe Travels application. Go to https://travel.hawaii.gov/#/ to view the log in page. All travelers over the age of 5 are required to be tested for COVID-19 from one of the trusted partners no earlier than 72 hours before flight departure times. Go to https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel/ for more details. Once negative results are received, upload them to the Safe Travels account and guests will be able to rent a car and stay anywhere without having to quarantine.
